Fresh Ground Thinking is a subscription-based service that offers a-la-carte features to give you the most control over your website without having to do the coding and design yourself. Comparable to Wix and Squarespace in price – but 100% managed, developed and designed for you.
There are no contracts with our service, you may cancel at any time from your account menu. Keep in mind if you do cancel your account – your site will be deactivated within 48 hours. You will still own your domain, your content, any images you provide and your logo. The site design and all licenses will remain in the ownership of Fresh Ground Thinking, LLC.

Change Requests

Any changes to your site after the initial build will be handled through your account where you can submit “change requests”.
Most changes are free of charge, occasionally content and design adjustments can run anywhere from $50-$150 depending.
You can personally edit your site at any time. We give you full access after launch – however we are not responsible for any bugs, security issues or broken features due to your edits. If you’d like to make drastic changes we recommend you contact us about a custom quote for a larger project.
We make daily backups of your site, just in case!

Your card will be automatically charged at the beginning of every month.
You may cancel your subscription at any time – but bare in mind your site will be brought offline immediately.
The subscription does not entitle you to licenses or ownership over material provided by Fresh Ground Thinking (i.e. stock imagery, theme licenses, plugin licenses, etc.) However, content and images provided by you, the client, will remain in your ownership.
Occasionally content and design adjustments submitted via the change request form can run anywhere from $50-$150 depending on the level of complexity of the request.

You are not permitted to re-use any of the custom coding, styles, images or plugins on your site in any other, unrelated personal or professional projects without written consent and licensed ownership of the material in use.
All licenses to themes and plugins will be owned by Fresh Ground Thinking unless you, the client, “buys out” your site in full – in which case all licenses will be transferred to the buyer.

We offer a migration / buy-out service if you need to change hosts OR would simply like to eliminate the subscription fees – yet keep your new site.
You may use this service at any time via the link in your account menu.
You will be given this value before we begin work and it will also be displayed in your proposal.
This value does not change over time based on previous subscription payments you’ve made – instead, it is meant as a way to purchase licenses and as an alternative to subscription payments. Most of our clients prefer the smaller, subscription payments despite the fact that these payments do not lower the buyout price and continue as long as you are a client of ours. Ultimately, the concept is designed to help smaller businesses get on their feet quicker, with lower upfront costs.
Your buyout price is listed in your account menu and will be presented to you at the time of your proposal (which is not a contract!). Please contact us (or click the buy now button in your account menu) if you’d like to buy out your site in full – we currently do not accept partial payments.
We can continue to host your site after the buy out – in which case we’ll offer you a much lower rate for continued hosting services. Typically this price ranges anywhere from $20-$30 / month.
If you’d like us to migrate your site – this is offered at a different, flat rate which we’ll discuss with you on a case by case basis.

Daily backups are made of your site for redundancy. We can rollback to any previous version for up to 30 days.
If you choose to modify the site on your own once it is live – we are not responsible for any bugs or security issues that occur due to your edits. The best course of action here is to submit a change request to our team from your account and we’ll make any updates for you. All packages come with 1-2 content changes per month.
We do not provide any cPanel or SQL access.
FTP access is available upon request.
We cannot guarantee exact site load times nor search engine rankings. We would consider any company that claims to guarantee these results to be misleading their clients. However, rest assured we have one of the fastest Wordpress hosting services available and all sites are fully configured for SEO!

Cancellations will result in your site being placed offline, permanently. There will be an option in your account to “buy out” your site if you wish to move hosts.
We’ll send reminders for overdue subscriptions – but your site will be turned off within 10 days of no payment. We’re always willing to work with you in extreme circumstances – provided you let us know ahead of time.
